Conductor
Conductor is a utility that aids in schedule management. It is excellent for keeping events on time. Conductor can record event timing for speaker panels, conferences, sporting events, and many more.
Schedule tab
When Conductor starts, it will show the Schedule tab. It will display the last loaded schedule if you’ve already saved a schedule. Otherwise, it will show an empty schedule.
On this tab, you can add schedule segments via the add icon (or by pressing Ctrl-A) at the bottom of the application. You can also edit or remove segments by clicking on the more icon for each segment. You can rearrange segments by dragging them using the drag handle for each segment.
Timer tab
When timing an event, click on the Timer tab. Here, the timer is started, paused, and advanced. The Start/Advance/Stop button functions automatically based on context. If the timer isn’t currently running, it will start the timer. If the timer is running, it will advance to the next scheduled segment. If there are no more scheduled segments, it will stop the timer. The button will always display the name of the function it will perform.
If the Conductor window is active, pressing Space will activate the Pause button, and pressing Enter will activate the Start/Advance/Stop button.
You can minimize the Timer tab to show just the timer by clicking the minify icon. In this mode, the timer will always appear as the top application.
The timer can be reset and restarted anytime by clicking the Reset icon. The Reset icon will reset the timer to zero and set the currently active segment to the first.
The Timer tab will show the amount of time the entire schedule is running behind below the segment timer, if applicable.
Summary tab
The Summary tab shows the amount of time each segment took up.
